I tend to use Euro peelers simply because it's what I'm accustomed to, and this one from KitchenAid has been a pleasure to use. It has a good, solid construction and an ergonomic handle that fits well in the hand and is comfortable to hold even 20 potatoes deep.
The best feature is the sharp, serrated edge on the blades. It bites into fruit and vegetable skins to make peeling a breeze. I feel that it also makes the peels less likely to stick to the steel. High quality product, with good value for the money.

Peeler feels very oversized & awkward in hand but works very well. Peels very deeply. Blade is serrated and aggressive. Works well on thick skinned fruits & vegs. I don't recommend this peeler for thin skinned potatoes, small whole carrots or apples. The peeler is perfect for thick skinned potatoes, yams, cantaloupe, watermelon & sweet potatoes. Giftable.
